(19 January 2026 – Asia) HSBC Private Bank has announced a series of senior leadership appointments across Thailand, Southeast Asia, Offshore China and Global India, reinforcing its focus on key cross-border wealth management corridors.
William Fok has been appointed to lead HSBC Private Bank’s onshore Thailand business from Bangkok, marking a return to the firm after nearly five years previously spent with HSBC in Hong Kong and Thailand. He brings more than 20 years’ experience across structured products and investment advisory.
Dawn Fung has been named head of wealth planning for Southeast Asia, effective immediately. In the role, she will continue to drive the region’s wealth planning strategy and expand advisory coverage for high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families. Fung has more than 25 years’ experience in banking and trust services, including over 22 years with HSBC.
Alex Liu has been appointed market head of Offshore China, extending his remit to include Singapore alongside his existing Hong Kong coverage.
HSBC has also bolstered its Global India team in Singapore with the appointments of Phaneendar Bhavaraju and Rangan Krishnan as senior relationship managers. Bhavaraju brings more than 28 years’ experience spanning FX, rates, derivatives, precious metals, private banking and structured finance, while Krishnan has over 31 years’ experience across wealth advisory, communications and portfolio management.
