(14 October 2010 – Australia) Earlier this week Australian Banking + Finance magazine (AB+F) held their inaugural Corporate and Business Banking Awards evening.NAB and St George walked away with the top two awards winning Best Corporate Bank and Best SME Bank respectively.
With the corporate and business banking service sector now a major driver of the Australian economic recovery and the new battleground for competition for financial institutions, the event, held in Sydney, recognised and honoured excellence in product and service customer satisfaction across 17 categories.
Leading specialist market research firm, East & Partners was selected by AB+F as research partner for the awards.
The awards evening was a part of an inaugural two day conference that included speeches by the Hon Malcolm Turnbull, the Hon Nick Sherry (Minister for Small Business) and Joseph Healy, NAB’s group executive business banking.
