(14 December 2007 – Australia) BankWest has appointed Simon Walsh as managing director.He replaces Rodger McArthur who retires at the end of this year.
Walsh is currently a BankWest board director and has been head of Group Strategy for HBOS Australia since July 2004.
He will continue in these roles in addition to his new position.
Walsh, who is from Western Australia, described the role as an important one for both Western Australia and HBOS Australia.
