(Australia) – Australia’s Commonwealth Bank (CBA) is looking to redevelop its internet banking site and has invited five suppliers to place bids for what will be a multi million dollar project.The Bank is expecting to conclude a deal by mid-2003 to replace its current NetBank platform, originally built in the late 1990s. The service was only ever developed to service around one million customers and the Bank has been challenged by its own success in attracting over two million customers now registered with the its internet banking service.
