(14 May 2025 – Europe) Raiffeisen Bank International has partnered with Wise to enhance cross-border payment capabilities for its retail and business customers throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
Operating across 11 markets in the region, Raiffeisen will adopt the Wise Platform — a payments infrastructure that enables international money transfers.
Matthias Dekan, Head of Payments and Daily Banking at Raiffeisen, commented: “In the past few years, we have seen growing customer demand and rising expectations for seamless international payments and we’re looking forward to going live with this innovative offering.”
The deal with Raiffeisen follows recent collaborations with Bank Mandiri, Zempler Bank, Morgan Stanley, and Standard Chartered.
