RBC Wealth Management Grows Singapore Team

(07 July 2020 – Singapore) RBC Wealth Management, part of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), has appointed two senior bankers in Asia to support its clients’ end to end wealth management needs and further strengthen its market position.

Based in Singapore, Ada Chan, senior director, and Cheryl Ong, director, will work in relationship management roles, focusing on servicing families in Asia including those who have ties globally, especially to Canada, US and UK.

Chan reports to David Tan, executive director and team head of North Asia, while Ong reports to Rohit Bhalla, executive director and team head of Southeast Asia.

Chan brings expertise in wealth planning, investment products and wider banking capabilities to support clients’ financial needs. She joins RBC after 13 years with UBS in Hong Kong. Ong has almost 25 years of private banking experience from Standard Chartered, HL Private Bank and most recently CA Indosuez.
