(12 March 2007 – Australia) Commonwealth Bank of Australia has appointed former ANZ National Bank chief executive Sir John Anderson as a director of the bank.Anderson is currently chairman of Television New Zealand, New Zealand Cricket and is also a member of the International Cricket Council executive board.
CBA chairman Dr John Schubert said Anderson brought a wealth of experience in banking and business to CBA and was a highly regarded community leader.
“We look forward to his contribution as a director of the bank,” he said.
