(14 May 2024 – Singapore) Standard Chartered has announced the appointment of three new senior executives to lead the group’s Asia transaction banking division.
The British Bank named Mahesh Kini (Singapore) as Global Head of Cash Management, Mark Troutman (Singapore) as Global Head of Transaction Banking Corporate Sales, and Dhiraj Rajan Bajaj (Hong Kong) as Global Head of Transaction Banking Financial Institutions Sales. All three join the transaction banking management team and report to Standard Chartered Global Head of Transaction Banking, Michael Spiegel.
Kini has nearly 30 years of banking experience across the globe, and was previously Head of International Banking, APAC, Commercial Banking at JP Morgan. Troutman, a 30 year veteran of transaction banking sales, comes from DBS Bank, where he was Group Head of Sales, Transaction Services.
Bajaj was most recently at Bank of America and brings 25 years of banking experience, where he was Global Head of Non-bank Financial Institutions and APAC Head of Financial Institutions Sales for Global Transaction Services.
