Strengthening Global Payments – APA Partnership with Visa Direct

(1 October 2024 – Singapore) As Atlantic Partners Asia (APA) expanded from a focus on Asian currencies to offering global services, one challenge was finding a partner who could handle higher trade sizes with dependability.

The collaboration between APA and Visa Direct is a testament to each organisation’s shared values and focus on customer-centric, high-touch services which has been a key driver of APA’s global success.

APA’s business requires access to more than 35 currencies across 180 countries. The company found that connecting to Currencycloud enabled it to connect to local payment rails and avoid much of the cost and complexity of remittances.

“At APA, we’re always looking for new ways to innovate and help our clients navigate the complexities of global payments. Whether you’re looking to streamline your cross-border transactions or explore cutting-edge FX solutions, our team is here to assist” commented APA Head of Sales, Natalie Brisset.

“Visa Direct Cross-Border Solutions plays a key role in helping us grow from one million USD in our first year to nearly 4 billion USD three years later. Their platform offers instant access to over 35 currencies in 180 plus countries, allowing us to expand our cross-border payments and FX functionality seamlessly” Brisset added.

“Our team works closely with partners to ensure seamless API integration, offering transparency, control over FX rates, and robust security protocols” said Visa Direct APAC Vice President, Rohit Narang.
