(18 August 2025 – Asia) Visa is rolling out its Click to Pay checkout service to Asia Pacific merchants through partnerships with 2C2P, Adyen, AsiaPay, and Worldpay.
The service enables customers to retrieve tokenised payment details via mobile number or email, eliminating the need to manually enter card information. Visa says this improves security, reduces cart abandonment, and delivers an average 2.5 percent uplift in payment success rates for merchants.
Device-agnostic and supporting biometric authentication, Click to Pay aims to make online purchases as seamless as contactless payments.
“Through strategic collaborations with 2C2P, Adyen, AsiaPay, and Worldpay, we are helping merchants increase sales, banks to deepen customer engagement, and consumers enjoy quicker, secure checkouts,” said TR Ramachandran, Visa’s Asia Pacific head of product and solutions.
