ANZ boosts Japan project and export finance business
(3 March 2006 – Japan) ANZ has appointed Yoshiaki Inoue as head of Project and Export Finance for Japan.
Inoue will report to ANZ head of Structured Export Finance, Chris Mitman, head of Project Finance, Asia, Vikas Batra, and general manager of the bank’s Japan business, Michael Black.
"This appointment further strengthens our Structured Debt capabilities in Japan, as we seek to expand our specialist advisory and debt arranging proposition to our core Japanese client base," Mitman said.
Inoue moves across from Mizuho Corporate Bank where he was senior vice president of Project Finance. He replaces Paul Richards who has taken up the role of ANZ head of Structured Export Finance, Asia.
Batra was appointed to the role of head of Project Finance for ANZ Asia following eight years with the bank. He has been based in Delhi, Singapore and Hong Kong.
