Bank of America completes Kangaroo notes offering

(9th December 2003 – Australia) Bank of America has completed its first Kangaroo notes offering of A$375 million in non-callable notes which will be issued in two separate series for sale in Australia, Asia and Europe. The notes include: A$275 million in fixed rate senior notes, and A$100 million in floating rate senior notes, both due on 5th December, 2008.

The issue was joint lead managed by Bank of America Asia, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Westpac. National Australia Bank was a co-manager to the issue, which will settle on 5th December, 2003.
