Barclays streamlines account application process

(18 April 2006 – UK) Major UK lender Barclays Bank has simplified its online application process for customers signing up to a current account. The bank said applications can be processed in about 10 minutes and customers are no longer obliged to send documentation through the postal system.

The whole process is conducted online and the number of questions customers have to answer have been reduced.
