BNY Mellon Names Regional Head of Treasury Services

(20 July 2021 – Singapore) BNY Mellon has appointed Winnie Chen as Head of Treasury Services for Asia Pacific.

Chen will lead the regional strategy, execution and governance for the Treasury Services business in Asia Pacific. She will have direct oversight of the Relationship Management and Business Development functions for the region, with matrix responsibility for all Treasury Services functions including Product and Client Services.

Chen also joins BNY Mellon's treasury services leadership team and represents treasury services on BNY Mellon’s Asia Pacific leadership council.

Based in Singapore, Chen will report directly to Eric Boughner, Global Head of Treasury Services Relationship Management and Business Development, and will also have a regional reporting line into Fangfang Chen, Asia Pacific Chair and Asia Pacific Head of Asset Servicing and Digital.

Most recently, Chen was at UOB, where she was the bank's group head for financial institutions sales for almost five years. Prior to that, she was head of financial institutions sales, North Asia, for ANZ in Hong Kong. She brings a wealth of experience in global transaction banking, holding senior sales roles at leading institutions including JP Morgan, Bank of America and ANZ.
