HBOS Australia appoints new CFO

HBOS Australia appoints new CFO

(7 February 2006 – Australia) HBOS Australia has appointed Tim Foster as chief financial officer. He will take up the reins on 13 March and will based in the bank’s Sydney office.

Foster has been CFO of Challenger Financial Services Group since 2003 and before that was CFO of Colonial First State.

"Mr Foster has extensive experience in the financial services sector and his skills add to the bench strength of our leadership team as we continue to focus on strong growth to build market share and expand nationally," HBOS Australia chief executive David Willis said.

Foster also worked at Coopers & Lybrand in the UK.
