Morgan Stanley names new Asia head
(13 February 2006 – Asia) US investment bank Morgan Stanley has appointed Hans Schuettler as chief executive of its Asian business.
Schuettler was most recently Morgan Stanley’s German country head and co-head of investment banking for Europe.
Based in Hong Kong, he will report to Asia chairman Alasdair Morrison and global co-president Zoe Cruz.
In light of Schuettler’s departure for Asia, Franck Petitgas will become the sole head of investment banking for Europe.
As a result, Colm Kelleher will take over as head of global capital markets from Petitgas.
