Newly Rebranded Scotpac Announces New CEO

(06 October 2020 – Australia) Non-bank lender Scotpac has announced the appointment of new CEO Jon Sutton to take over from long-serving CEO Peter Langham.

Mr Langham will move into a non-executive board role following 13 years of service with the group recently rebranded from Scottish Pacific to ScotPac with a new brand design and logo.

Mr Sutton brings almost 30 years of banking experience to the role including CEO and managing director positions at BankWest and BoQ while also heading up Rural and Agri-banking at CommBank. Mr Sutton resigned from BoQ in 2018 due to health issues and is currently BNK Board of Directors Chairman and an advisory board member for FinTech SendFX. During his tenure at BoQ he implemented the group’s strategic review and focused on expanding its business banking footprint, in particular specialising  in key industry sector verticals.

“Jon’s experience with SMEs and his passion to help business owners succeed make him a great addition to the ScotPac business” quoted outgoing CEO Peter Langham.

“It’s so important for businesses to find the right funding support. We’ve seen that with the events of 2020, and it’s a factor that’s not going away. I’m excited to take up the role at ScotPac as we expand on how we can provide business owners with simple, fast funding products that offer them the best chance at success” stated incoming Scotpac CEO Mr Sutton on his appointment.
