Santander Launch Digital Banking Platform in Cloud
(9 April 2021 – Europe) Santander have partnered Syncordis, a technology implementation company, and Temenos, a banking software organisation, to develop and implement a new digital banking platform. The new platform will be hosted and operate on Microsoft Azure’s cloud network, enabling the bank to benefit from greater security, resilience and elastic scalability.
Syncordis will be directly tasked with system integration and implementation to safely transition the bank’s core banking service to a new digital banking eco-system. Whist, Temenos will be tasked with building the digital platform.
