Visa B2B cross border payments research and Infosys integration

(25 September 2019 – United States) Visa has announced that Infosys is integrating with the Visa B2B Connect network to provide access to their participating financial services providers globally.

Visa also revealed that its Visa B2B Connect product has doubled its cross border payments country network coverage from 30 global trade corridors in Q2 2019 to 62 with aspirations to reach over 100 destinations in 2020.

According to recent East & Partners research commissioned by Visa, almost two thirds of respondents (59 percent) expect overall revenues from cross border payments to increase in the next five years as a result of faster payments. Nearly a quarter of respondents (24 percent) expect to see faster payments drive up revenues by as much as 25 percent.

“Visa B2B Connect is a fast, secure and more efficient network, designed specifically to overcome obstacles in the cross-border corporate payments space. We are excited to bring on Infosys and expand Visa B2B Connect to new geographies all in a joint effort to accelerate innovation and increase efficiencies for financial institutions and their corporate clients” said Visa Business Solutions Global Head, New Payment Flows, Alan Koenigsberg.
