Barclays Australia bolsters its investment banking division

(9 September 2015 – Australia) Barclays Australia has appointed Duncan Hogg as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions as the bank fleshes out its local investment banking division.

Hogg who was previously with JP Morgan will be reporting to co-heads of investment banking Richard Satchwell and Paul Early.

Hogg will join a host new talent in the division including debt capital markets banker Warren Briggs, leveraged finance specialist Sofia Rostankowska, Matthew Wohlfiel in markets and Christophe Richter and Samit Ghosh in risk solutions.

Commenting on the hires, Mr Satchwell said “With the current market volatility, clients need partners they can trust to provide the right advice and unparalleled access to all the major global capital markets,”

“These talented new hires will help us further realise this.”
