HSBC Singapore appoints new wealth management head

(22 August 2016 – Asia) HSBC Bank has announced Anurag Mathur as head of its wealth management and retail business in Singapore.

Mathur will be replacing the bank’s current retail banking head, Matthew Colebrook, who will lead its retail and wealth management business for the Middle East region.

Mathur joined HSBC Group in Hong Kong in 2009. He was most recently head of international markets for the retail banking and wealth management business in Asia, which involved overseeing the growth for HSBC in Bangladesh, Brunei, Macau, Mauritius, New Zealand, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Pending regulatory approval, Mathur will commence his new role from 17 September 2016.
