ANZ launches foreign currency travel card

ANZ launches foreign currency travel card

(13 February 2007 – Australia) ANZ has launched a pre-paid foreign currency Visa travel card. The card will be available in US, Australian, New Zealand dollars, sterling and euros and can be used wherever Visa is accepted electronically.

ANZ managing director for Debt and Transaction Services, Chris Cooper, said the travel card was not linked to ANZ deposit accounts and was therefore available to non ANZ customers.

"ANZ Travel Card is also covered by a range of security features, including PIN protection to protect funds from anyone else finding and using a lost or stolen card," he said.
