BEN Director resigns

(4 December 2009 – Australia) The Deputy Chairman of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, Kevin Osborn, has announced his immediate resignation from the group’s board. The move is reportedly to allow Mr Osborn to concentrate on his other non-executive director responsibilities, the bank said in a statement.

Robert Johanson, chairman, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, thanked Mr Osborn for his work within the group.

Mr Johanson also added that Mr Osborn has played a key role in the successful merger of Adelaide Bank and Bendigo Bank, and was a valuable contributor to the board as the group managed the effects of the global financial crisis.
