Citigroup appoints six regional heads
(20 November 2009 – Europe) Citigroup has appointed six regional heads to assist in growing its mergers and acquisitions business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The group will report to Wilhelm Schulz; who heads Mergers and Acquisitions for the EMEA regions.
The aim for the company is to strengthen interaction between the bank’s country-focused and industry-based mergers and acquisition teams.
Andrea Nappi and Craig Reisser will assist Dan Bailey in the efforts in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
France, Belgium and Luxembourg will be headed by Michael Nebot, while Simon Wilske will head up Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Simon Linsday will lead the UK, Kim Tudor will be responsible for leading the Iberian team and Paolo Galli will take charge of Italy and the Netherlands.
The group has yet to find the appropriate candidates for its Nordic mergers and acquisitions franchise.
