East & Partners Asia is seeking a senior Banking Markets Analyst to join our Singapore based team.
East & Partners runs large scale demand side research programs in the business and corporate banking markets across Asia, generating powerful and detailed, demand-side analysis and insights for clients in the banking and financial services sectors.
We are seeking a highly motivated person to assume responsibility for executing insights based analyses across our research data, highlighting significant market trends, service provider performance, customer behaviour dynamics and developing a focused analytical team. The ability to represent findings in a compelling and authoritative manner in written, verbal and visual presentations is critical to the role. The analyst will also help drive and execute private client engagements and market scoping projects in support of East & Partners’ advisory practice.
The right individual will require:
- Two to three years experience in a similar role, ideally in transactional and trade banking
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
- An innovative approach to analysis and interpretation
- The ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
- An interest in working with the financial services media regionally
- Preparedness for intra-regional travel
