KBank teams up with Indonesia’s BCA

(20 July 2012 – Indonesia) Thailand's Kasikornbank (KBank) has teamed up with Indonesia's Bank Central Asia (BCA) in offering financial services to Thai customers doing business in Indonesia. 'We want our clients investing in Indonesia and other countries to obtain our suggestions and guarantee services,' said Somkiat Sirichatchai, senior executive vice president of KBank.

BCA operates 900 branches across Indonesia, which is drawing huge investment on the International Monetary Fund’s forecast that its economy would expand 6.1 percent in 2013.

That is the highest growth rate among ASEAN nations.

Under the memorandum of understanding, KBank hopes to maximise benefits for its retail and corporate customers.

'In addition to financial services, we will work together to organise seminars, business matching and employee exchange programmes,' Somkiat said.
