New Asia chairman at Morgan Stanley
(23 April 2007 – Asia) Morgan Stanley has appointed a new chairman for its Asia business.
The investment bank has promoted its chief economist Stephen Roach to the role of chairman for Asia.
He will act as Morgan Stanley’s senior representative when dealing with governments, regulators and clients in the region.
Roach will relocate to Hong Kong in September to take up his new position.
