Wise Rebrand Following New Customer Milestone

(2 March 2023 – United Kingdom) International funds transfer firm Wise has unveiled a new look and feel as it reaches 16 million customers worldwide.

The branding refresh features a green palette and new font drawing from global currencies, languages, alphabets and places globally. The new logo and app were designed so customer experience is consistent regardless of where in the world users are or what language they are using.

The announcement also highlighted two new products for the global money firm. The first is the Wise Business Card, which is an extension of the company’s Wise Account. The card is currently available to US customers. The second new product, also for US users, enables users to transfer money to recipients via a link. Instead of requiring the sender to know the recipient’s bank details, the recipient can securely enter their bank credentials through the link.

“Our new look is inspired by the millions of people and businesses worldwide that use Wise today. It draws from where they come from, but also represents the excitement of the world open for them to conquer,” said Wise Co-founder and CEO, Kristo Käärmann.

“Over the past year we’ve introduced new features to make Wise more useful to our customers, and made payments faster. We now deliver over half our payments to their recipient in less than 20 seconds. We also helped our customers save on fees, £1.5 billion compared to banks in 2022 alone" Käärmann added.
