ABN AMRO gets new regional head

(15 July 2005 – Singapore) Dutch banking giant ABN AMRO has appointed David Dredge as new regional head of both local and global markets trading at the bank’s Singapore office. Dredge will be responsible for bringing together ABN AMRO’s local rates markets, credit and foreign exchange businesses.

He is also charged with the task of strengthening the bank’s trading and risk management capabilities in these business divisions.

Dredge will report to the bank’s Asia head of global markets, Greg Major, as well as Singapore chief executive, David Wong.
