Alan Roch new head of ANZ Debt Syndicate, Asia Pacific

(3 August 2015 – Australia) Alan Roch has been appointed by ANZ in the expanded role of head of Debt Syndicate, Asia Pacific reporting to Global Head of Debt Syndicate Paul White.

Roch joins from RBS in Singapore, where he was managing director and head of Asia Pacific Bond Syndicate since 2011.

During a 16 year career in banking, Roch was previously director Emerging Markets Debt Syndicate at ABN AMRO in London which he joined in 2000, having commenced his career at BNP Finance in Paris.

Commenting on his appointment White said: “Alan has extensive debt syndicate experience across the Asia Pacific and in global markets.

“He is well qualified to support the further development of ANZ’s debt capital markets capabilities in the region.”

Roch joins ANZ in August and will be based in Hong Kong.
