ANZ announces Fiji call centre
(Australia) - ANZ Bank has chosen Fiji for a call centre operation to support bank's electronic banking, finance and IT businesses in the Pacific region.
ANZ has spent A$2 million on the facility, which will replace and centralises functions currently held in Melbourne and other locations.
ANZ plans to run the facility at "arms length" to its core operations in the hope that other companies will outsource functions to the new centre.
