ANZ appoints corporate GM for NT and SA
(11 March 2005 – Australia) ANZ has appointed Paul McCarthy as general manager of Corporate Banking for South Australia and Northern Territory. He will report to ANZ managing director of Corporate Banking Neil Shilbury.
McCarthy has moved across the Tasman following his previous role as regional executive for the bank’s Corporate Banking division in New Zealand, where he was based in Auckland.
Before joining ANZ, McCarthy worked for both Lloyds and Cargill in London and was a director of Project Finance for Airport Group International where he was board director for Alice Springs and Darwin International airports.
McCarthy said he was keen to build on the bank’s success in bringing investment banking solutions to corporate customers. He starts work in the new role in April.
