ANZ goes shopping with Woolworths

(17 March 2006 – Australia) Woolworths has inked a deal with ANZ to roll out a ‘Woolworths’ branded ATM network across its Australian retail outlets. Woolworths had previously had a merchant acquiring arrangement in place with Commonwealth Bank.

The network will include 700 Woolworths Financial Services and ANZ branded ATMs in Woolworths and Safeway supermarkets, as well as Dick Smith, Big W, Powerhouse and Plus Petrol outlets.

Another 200 ATMS will be branded CashConnect.
