ANZ’s former chairman resurfaces
(29 April 2010 – Australia) Australia and New Zealand Banking Group’s former chairman Charles Goode has surfaced again in the business world as chairman of a boutique advisory firm Flagstaff Partners.
Mr Goode joins Deutsche Bank’s former global merger and acquisition head Tony Burgess in the Melbourne based firm.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Flagstaff Partners incorporates the Melbourne operations and staff of former Palladio Partners, which two offices, Melbourne and Sydney, recently split due to reported differences between Mr Burgess and the Sydney head Tony O’Sullivan.
Mr Goode, a former stock broker and Singapore Airlines board member, retired from his position as director for ANZ at the beginning of March this year.
