Bankwest head changes jobs
(17 March 2010 – Australia) Bankwest has announced the appointment of Mark Reid, currently heading up the bank’s retail arm, to the position of head of business and private banking.
Ian Cortfield, Bankwest’s business banking chief executive, announced the appointment saying that Mr Reid’s new position would include building a new divisional approach to the sales and service model of the business division.
To pursue the bank’s strategic direction for the business unit relentlessly, it needs a strong leadership team ready to deliver to targets in a still volatile and challenging environment, Mr Corfield said.
I am confident that by appointing Mr Reid to this position, Bankwest is shaping the best fit-for-purpose team to lead the business, Mr Corfield added.
