BNP Paribas Bolsters APAC Transaction Banking Unit

(9 December 2022 – Singapore) BNP Paribas announced two senior Singapore-based appointments to its global trade solutions division for Asia Pacific (APAC) transaction banking.

Cynthia Tchikoltsoff has been named Head of Global Trade Solutions, Transaction Banking APAC at BNP Paribas. Tchikoltsoff has 15 years of experience working at BNP Paribas, primarily in supply chain management.

The French lender also promoted Stephane Gaboriaud to an expanded role as Deputy Head of Global Trade Solutions for Transaction Banking in Asia Pacific.

“Global trade is facing significant changes in recent years, from supply chain disruption due to the pandemic, digitalisation in trade processes, as well as demand in incorporating sustainability in supply chain,” said BNP Paribas Head of Transaction Banking for Asia Pacific, Chye Kin Wee.

“Asia Pacific is an important market for our corporate clients, and we remain focused on supporting our clients under the ever changing market environment ” he added.
