BNZ appoints new chief marketing officer
(9 November 2011 – New Zealand) Craig Herbison has been appointed to the new position of Chief Marketing Officer for Bank of New Zealand (BNZ).
Invercargill-born Herbison will join the 150 year-old bank’s leadership team at the end of November.
BNZ chief Andrew Thorburn said: "Craig stands out, we know that he has the drive, fine-tuned customer focus and proven track record to move our brand forward and we welcome him to our leadership team."
Currently Herbison is Brand & Marketing Communications general manager for Australian directories company Sensis, in Melbourne.
His previous roles include Director; Marketing & Brand for Telecom New Zealand’s Retail division, as well as Regional general manager Brand & Communications for Vodafone.
This seasoned professional has worked for a range of advertising and marketing agencies, including STW Group, Australia; WPP, London; TBWA-GGT, London; and Ogilvy Interactive, London.
