BNZ appoints new managing partner for the Waikato region

(16 October 2012 – New Zealand) Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) has appointed Mike Frew in the position of managing partner for the Waikato region. Frew has been in a similar role for the past three years in Tauranga as managing partner, Bay of Plenty and is looking forward to returning to the Waikato.

'It's an exciting time to be coming to the Waikato, not only are there a number of sporting trophies in the cabinet but the region is and will continue to experience significant growth. And that’s something the Bank of New Zealand wants to be part of,' he said.

BNZ Partners, Head of Distribution, Campbell Parker said, "We are delighted to have someone of Mike’s skills and depth of experience in the Waikato and reflects our commitment to the region."

"Despite a lift in dairy prices, the regional economy is still subdued. Mike’s focus will be to continue to successfully support clients across a range of industries with the expertise and financing solutions needed to grow their businesses".

Frew will transition to the new role over the next few weeks.
