CBA allows banking first

CBA allows banking first

(22 September 2010 – Australia) The Commonwealth Bank of Australia has announced a banking first, it will allow its Diamond partner brokers to print home loan contracts to improve customer service, an Australian major banking first. Ms Cummings said the document printing capability was pinpointed by brokers as the most valued benefit after priority processing.

Feedback from CBA’s diamond partners has indicated that improving efficiency, reliability and turnaround times are the key drivers of broker satisfaction and advocacy, Ms added.

By empowering the bank’s diamond partners to print documents in their office we are helping them to improve their customer satisfaction, increasing their efficiency and giving them a competitive edge, Ms Cumming highlighted.

Core Mortgage Brokers principal Brad Parkes said the ability to print documents in the office would not only improve his customer service abilities, but also the speed with which he can turn applications around.

Documents are not being lost in the post, and if there is an error on the documents, it is fixed within hours, not days. The system appears to be faster than normal, with documents being made available the same day the loan is unconditionally approved, Mr Parkes said.
