CBA gives away anti-virus software

(26 November 2007 – Australia) Commonwealth Bank will give 25,000 of its NetBank customers free internet security software. The first 25,000 customers who register for NetBank and who also complete an online quiz will receive a free one year subscription for Computer Associates' Internet Security Suite Plus 2008, which customers can download or install.

The bank is also making the security technology available for half price for customers who miss out on the freebie.

CBA group executive, Retail, Ross McEwan said the bank found that more than 80 percent of its NetBank customers had already installed anti-virus software but the bank wanted to support those who hadn’t done so.
