Deutsche Bank opens new branch
(11 December 2009 – China) Deutsche Bank China has opened a new branch in Tianjin complementing the group’s existing network in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
The new branch is largely transaction and corporate banking focused and will initially offer services including treasury products and services for foreign exchange and interest rate hedging.
Other services the bank will provide its customers will be structured trade and export finance, onshore sales and customer services support to financial institutions.
Lee Zhang, group chairman of Deutsche Bank China and head of global banking Asia-Pacific, said that the opening of Deutsche Bank's Tianjin branch enables a significant expansion of the group’s North China coverage. It is an important step in Deutsche Bank's strategy in China, where the bank is committed to continuing to develop its business.
