German banking giant announces new North Asia wealth head

(2 December 2016 – Hong Kong) Deutsche Bank has promoted internally to fill the vacant role of North Asia wealth management head.

Following the departure of Ravi Raju, who left to join rival UBS Wealth Management, the German bank promoted Lok Yim to take over the role of Asia Pacific Wealth Management Head.

Deutsche has now named Kansas Chan as head of North Asia wealth management, it is believed she will take up the position on 5 December 2016 and report into Lok Yim.

Chan has more than 20 years’ experience, and joined Deutsche's Wealth Management arm in 2007 as head of fixed income. Since 2013 she has been the head of capital markets Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Deutsche she worked with U.S. bank Citi and with Singapore's DBS.
