HSBC personalises offerings for Chinese businesses

(24 May 2013 – China) HSBC Corporation has decided to specialise some services, targeting Chinese companies that are planning overseas ventures in Europe by offering a tailor-made financial plan.

HSBC will offer more personalised solutions for Chinese companies planning to expand abroad as the bank continues to diversify revenue streams to push growth.

Europe's largest bank by market value has begun the process by implementing a renminbi cross-border trade settlement solution for a major Chinese company.

It has also set up 17 dedicated China desks around the world to provide information on local business and regulatory environments to Chinese companies planning overseas ventures.

HSBC said its China team is already in touch with several Chinese companies. Through the speedy transfer of knowledge across the HSBC network, HSBC claims it can ensure its overseas China desks have the necessary background information to provide speedy and on-the-ground services for Chinese clients.
