Keycorp’s kiwi expansion
(New Zealand) Australian EFTPOS solutions outfit Keycorp has picked up two New Zealand clients in the space of a couple of days, inking deals with both Provenco and EFTPOS NZ (ENZ).
Auckland-based Provenco, which provides technology for New Zealand’s largest EFTPOS network ETSL, has already placed orders with Keycorp amounting to more than A$1 million for payment terminals and services.
ENZ, which is a member of the ANZ banking group, has placed an order for 1000 terminals to support its rollout of EMV (Europay MasterCard Visa) smartcards throughout New Zealand.
Keycorp general manager Tem Elliot said the company had been selective in its choice of partners in New Zealand.
'We are now ideally positioned to make a major impact on the New Zealand market with the market leading K23 terminal,' he said.
