Leadership changes at NAB’s Wealth Management division

(Sydney) National Australia Bank has given its Wealth Management leadership team a good shake-up in a bid to deliver on its long term business strategy.

NAB’s Wealth Management executive general manager Peter Scott said the changes would bring new skills to the business units and "provide fresh opportunity for growth".

The changes to the leadership team are:

  • Geoffrey Summerhayes, formerly CEO, Retail Investments, has been appointed Head of Corporate Development.

  • Steve Tucker has moved from his former position leading the Distribution team, to CEO, Retail Investments.

  • Matt Lawler has been promoted from his role as General Manager, Adviser Distribution, to CEO, Distribution. The new position promotes Mr Lawler to the Wealth Management Leadership Team.

  • Geoff Wenborn, former Technology General Manager, has also been promoted to the Leadership Team as Chief Information Officer.

  • Martin Crawford, is moving from leading the Corporate Solutions team to the National Australia Bank's Financial Services Australia division.

  • Michelle Tredenick (former Head of Business Systems and Corporate Development), has been appointed CEO, Corporate Solutions and will also be responsible for the New Zealand operations.Following two and a half years leading Wealth Management Europe, Paul Rogan is returning from the United Kingdom to take up a new leadership team role responsible for all major enterprise programs and processes. Head of Strategy for National Financial Services Europe, Garry Mulcahy, will take up the position of CEO, Wealth Management Europe.
