MacBank tunes in to media fund listing

(13 September 2005 – Australia) Macquarie Bank plans to list a new media fund on the Australia Stock Exchange for its radio assets and any other media acquisitions. The bank said the fund would also focus on making further investments in media both domestically and overseas.

Macquarie said the fund would include the assets of RG Capital Radio and DMG Regional Radio.

The bank said it had appointed advisors to look into establishing the new fund and would make an announcement in the next few weeks.

Macquarie said it would keep the market informed and release a disclosure document for the offer of the securities.
