Macquarie staff offered SARS

(Australia) - Macquarie Bank staff returning to Sydney to escape the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) virus are being offered a form of quarantine - choosing between working in isolation in the Sydney office or working from home. Other Australian financial firms such as QBE, Westpac and the local operation of HSBC are also reportedly considering a quarantine period for staff from SARS affected regions such as Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
