Moodys stable outlook for Hong Kong and China

(20 April 2012 – China) Ratings agency Moody’s has confirmed the stability of the banking system in China and Hong Kong. Moody’s rated the outlook for China’s banking sector as stable, reflecting their view that China’s slowing economy will grow in the range of 7.5 percent to 8.5 percent this year.

Hong Kong’s credit rating continues to be supported by a solid financial base, good profitability, strong asset quality and sound capitalisation.
