NAB announces new company secretary

(27 January 2006 – Australia) National Australia Bank has appointed Michaela Healey as company secretary following the impending retirement of Garry Nolan. Healey has a wealth of company secretary experience at a number of listed companies in Australia and has held senior roles at Orica and North Limited.

She joins NAB from Orica where she has been company secretary, corporate affairs manager, and was most recently Orica’s retail business manager.

Nolan has been company secretary at NAB since 1992 and was the founder of the bank’s lease financing business. He also played a key role in the establishment of structured financing at the bank.

Healey starts in her role at NAB on 3 April 2006.
