NAB appoints 3 to senior marketing roles

(23 January 2016 – Australia) National Australia Bank (NAB) has announced the appointment of three senior marketing roles including that of Suzana Ristevski to General Manager, business marketing and customer strategy.

She joins the bank following a 12 tenure with GE, where she held the role of chief marketing officer and head of strategy and growth for Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

She is joined by Analisa Kirby and Karen Ganschow in the bank’s expanding customer leadership team.

The bank said it has appointed Kirby as general manager of intermediary marketing, which has responsibility for financial advisers and brokers. She has extensive experience in financial services marketing. Her previous role was as general manager of product, marketing and communications at QIC, as well as 12 years working with AMP Capital,

Lastly, Ganschow, who worked with Big Four rival Westpac as that bank’s general manager of customer relationship management and digital, will be NAB’s new general manager of consumer marketing and customer strategy.

Speaking of the three appointments, NAB CMO, Andrew Knott, said: “We’ve gone for the best of the best in their respective fields, and I’m very excited to see each of these marketing leaders join the NAB Marketing team,” he said.

“Karen, Analisa and Suzana will all be instrumental players as we continue to tell the More than Money story in 2016 and beyond and ensure we remain a customer-focused organisation.”

The new appointments follow on from a mid-2016 restructure at the bank which saw the divisional heads replaced with chief customer officers, as well as business and personal banking units re-aligning.
